Belgium accepts CE marking like the rest of the EU, then quietly asks for something extra on many projects.
What Belgium asks for
Products covered by a harmonised European standard carry CE marking and a Declaration of Performance. On Belgian projects, buyers often also ask for a voluntary national mark or technical approval, such as BENOR or ATG, as added assurance. CE marking is the legal baseline; the extra mark is a commercial expectation.
