UKCA vs CE Marking for Construction Products in 2026

Dutch specifiers start from the building rules and work backwards to the product. If your document does not answer their rule, it does not matter how good the product is.
What Netherlands asks for
Products covered by a harmonised European standard carry CE marking and a Declaration of Performance. Dutch national building rules then set the performance a building has to meet, and the specifier picks products whose declared classes satisfy it. The useful document is the DoP, because it states classes rather than claims.
